On December 7, 2024, Sovannaphum Life Insurance proudly initiated a social responsibility activity under the theme “Sovannaphum Life for Cambodian Children” at 07, located in Staoknlang Village, Dei Edth Commune, Kien Svay District, Kandal Province. The initiative aims to provide support and opportunities for underprivileged children across Cambodia.
As an institution committed to corporate social responsibility (CSR), Sovannaphum Life firmly believes in the importance of contributing to the community through social initiatives. The company is dedicated to creating impactful programs that assist Cambodian children, ensuring they have access to essential resources and opportunities for a brighter future.
As part of this initiative, Sovannaphum Life donated 1,000,000 riels (one million riels), two desktop computers, one printer, two large umbrellas for the school, 350 sets of educational supplies for students, and essential items for eight teachers. Additionally, Sovannaphum Life employees contributed an extra 1,000,000 riels (one million riels) to support the school’s various needs.
Mr. Yin Sarath, the school principal, expressed his gratitude, stating: “I am deeply delighted and sincerely thank Sovannaphum Life for their generous contributions, including educational materials, office equipment, and financial support for the school.” He noted that this was the first time the school received such donations, which will significantly improve the teaching and learning environment.
