Phnom Penh, March 2025 – Sovannaphum Life Assurance Plc. remains steadfast in its commitment to uplifting women in Cambodia. This year, the company proudly sponsored Women Run 10K 2025, a celebration of strength and perseverance held under the theme “Run Forward for Women” in honor of International Women’s Day (March 8). Starting from Botum Vatey Pagoda Park and passing through Koh Pich and Koh Norea, the event brought together women from diverse backgrounds, uniting them in a powerful display of resilience and empowerment.
Recognizing the importance of protecting and elevating vulnerable women, Sovannaphum Life has donated essential materials worth 4,000,000 KHR to Women Are Gold (WAG), a nonprofit community center in Kampong Cham dedicated to supporting young women and girls at risk of or affected by human trafficking. This contribution aims to equip them with skills and educational opportunities that can help them break the cycle of poverty and build a better future.
