Sovannaphum Life Assurance Plc, Cambodia’s leading life insurance company, is proud to announce the successful completion of its annual charity event, the “Family Fun Bike 2023” at Koh Pich City, Phnom Penh, and was aimed at raising funds for Cambodian children in need.
The event was a huge success, with over 300 cyclists participating in the charity ride. Meanwhile, Sovannaphum Life is also grateful to our main sponsors, including Overseas Cambodian Investment Corporation (OCIC), Koh Pich Phnom Penh, InterCare Medical Center, Canadia Bank, Soriya Center Point, Dara Hotels, The Olympia Mall, Ratana Plaza, Canadian International School of Phnom Penh, Watch Empire Co.,Ltd., Datasafe (Cambodia) and other Companies for their generous support. Sovannaphum Life would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Koh Pich City’s management team for providing the venue to host the event and media partners such as BTV, CC Time, Baksey Media, Phnom Penh Post, Tnaot App that supported our event.
The total funds raised from the sponsors in cash amounted to USD 2,600 and received some sponsorship as in-kind. In addition, the amount and in-kind will be donated to Cambodian children in need through our partner organizations and public primary schools.
During the event, Sovannaphum Life CEO Loke Kah Meng delivered a speech that highlighted the importance of supporting Cambodian children and the role that Sovannaphum Life plays in this regard. He said: “We are proud to organize this event every year and contribute to the betterment of our society. We believe that every child deserves a chance to succeed in life, and we are committed to making that happen.” He added, “We hope that this event will inspire more people to come forward and contribute towards building a better future for Cambodian children.”
Sovannaphum Life had successfully organized The Family Fun Bike in 2022. The Family Fun Bike 2023 was a great success and would not have been possible without the support of our sponsors and participants.
